Walter L., passed away Wednesday, November 23rd, at the age of 75 after a long courageous battle against Parkinson's Disease. A proud Navy veteran and 2 time cancer survivor, Walter was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting and spending time at his home in the mountains. Walter also enjoyed working with his hands. When he was younger, he loved to put together and fix engines. As he got older he applied his craftsmanship to wood working both as a hobby and as a career as a carpenter with the Lawrenceville Preparatory School. Even with all these hobbies, Walter most enjoyed simply being around his family and having a good time.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia (nee Fusco), his children, Linda (Michael) Dixon and Daniel Peterson, and grandchildren, Heather (Shawn) McGill, April Dixon, Mark Peterson, Jessica Peterson, and Luke Peterson. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald (Chriss) Peterson, mother-in-law, Dorothy Fusco, brother-in-law, Ralph Fusco, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Walter's Life Celebration on Wednesday, November 30th, from 10AM-12PM followed by his Memorial Service at 12PM at the Beck Givnish Life Celebration Home, 7400 New Falls Rd, Levittown, PA 19055.
